Validation Cloud Integrated BSC and opBNB into the DIN Ecosystem

Validation Cloud successfully integrated BNB Smart Chain (BSC) and opBNB into the DIN ecosystem. The integration is the latest effort by the Decentralized Infrastructure Network (DIN), a decentralized API marketplace for Web3 infrastructure, to enable new ways for developers to build and scale applications in a more decentralized way.

What is DIN?

DIN is a multi-chain RPC initiative created by Infura to decentralize Web3 infrastructure through a network of RPC providers. These providers offer RPC support for various networks including BSC, opBNB, and Base. Developers connect to these networks through Infura’s Dashboard and their transactions on the decentralized networks are routed to DIN providers, such as Validation Cloud. Utilizing decentralized providers offers developers more flexibility, cost-efficiency, and scalability than they may get from using a centralized provider.

BSC Overview

BSC is a blockchain network created by Binance to support smart contracts enabling a variety of applications including gaming, DeFi, and governance systems. BSC uses the Proof-of-Staked-Authority (PoSA) consensus mechanism, allowing validators to stake BNB to secure the network. BSC is especially effective for DeFi applications because of the ability to use assets from different chains across various use cases including asset exchanges, voting, and yield farming.

opBNB Overview

opBNB is a high-performance layer-2 scaling solution built on top of the BSC ecosystem. opBNB is designed to maximize the capabilities of the BNB Chain by offering lower fees, higher throughput, and enhanced scalability. Built on the OP Stack, opBNB provides a cost-effective environment for developers and users. The network supports a variety of applications including gaming, DeFi, and everyday digital transactions.
