Every journey starts with a mission. Some point us to the outer reaches of our physical world; others seek to advance the digital frontier. At Validation Cloud, our audacious mission is to connect organizations into Web3 through fast, scalable, and intelligent infrastructure. Principally, we believe that the enablement of the Web3 technology platform will change the way software is written, deployed, and eventually monetized, and will create trillions of dollars of market value over coming decades.
We started Validation Cloud out of necessity. As an enterprise user of Web3 infrastructure tools, we were deeply dissatisfied with the lack of speed, scale, and resilience of legacy solutions. Turns out, we weren’t the only ones… The market’s needs and requirements have evolved beyond those of the early adopters of Web3, and the frustrations of enterprises are palpable. Whether it’s complete service blackouts, rate limiting, and/or poor customer service, we saw a market yearning for an innovative, product-driven infrastructure provider. So, we built it.
One of Validation Cloud’s core tenets is “superior architecture matters.” It is at the heart of many of our technological breakthroughs to date, and was also a common hallmark of the Web2-enabling infrastructure platforms that inspired us (and helped create trillions of dollars of market value).
The average person might not know Juniper Networks, Akamai, and Cloudflare; but these companies’ innovations were major catalysts for bringing speed, scale, and resilience to Web2 infrastructure. They enabled the likes of Netflix to stream its service (vs. sending physical DVDs by mail), dramatically changing how Web2 services were delivered, consumed, and monetized. We believe that Web3 will undergo this transformation in the coming decade, and Validation Cloud will be one of the catalysts to bring about this change.
We pride ourselves on our company culture, which celebrates a humble, Day One mentality. To that end, we approach each conversation internally and externally as an opportunity to challenge our assumptions and be solutions-oriented. In our view, this is a requirement if you want to change the world; and reminds me of one of my favorite African proverbs: “If you want to go fast, go alone.
