Q: What’s your new role here at Validation Cloud? Can you share a bit about your previous experience and background?

A: I’m currently the Communications Manager at Validation Cloud. Joining a small but mighty marketing team, I help develop effective marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences, and drive business growth.

Before joining Validation Cloud, I had the opportunity to work at Greylock, a venture capital firm. During my time there, I provided support to the in-house marketing team and supported the firm’s portfolio companies in developing and executing marketing and PR strategies. It was an exciting experience as I had the chance to collaborate closely with various prominent crypto startups like Piñata, gaining valuable insights into the Web3 industry.

Q: What inspired you to join the Validation Cloud team and how do you see your role contributing to the mission of the company?

A: I was inspired to join the Validation Cloud team for several reasons. I was drawn to Validation Cloud because of its dedicated and talented team. The opportunity to work alongside like-minded individuals who are driven by a shared vision was truly appealing to me. The company’s culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and pushing boundaries further motivated me to be a part of this dynamic environment.

In terms of my marketing role, I think it plays a crucial role in contributing to the mission of Validation Cloud. Effective marketing is not just about promoting a product or service; it’s about resonating with the target audience, understanding their pain points, and demonstrating how our solutions can address those challenges. Marketing has the potential to drive brand recognition, generate leads, and support the overall growth of Validation Cloud, making a meaningful impact in the industry.

Q: What are your thoughts on the potential impact of Web3 technology and how do you think Validation Cloud can help organizations tap into its potential?

A: I am fascinated by the disruptive potential of blockchain technology and the ways it can be used to transform industries and empower individuals. The decentralized nature of Web3 opens up new possibilities for transparency, security, and trust in various sectors which I am excited to see play out. With regards to Validation Cloud, I believe we have a significant role to play in helping organizations tap into the potential of Web3. Validation Cloud is a very user-friendly way to connect to the blockchain, making it the base layer for so many applications. This is particularly exciting because the work we undertake at Validation Cloud holds the power to influence diverse areas of Web3.

A: Determination. The value of determination resonates with me most because it embodies the qualities that drive personal and professional growth. I think that determination is a key driver of success and progress. When we face challenges or obstacles, determination is what drives us to persevere, find creative solutions, and achieve our goals. This value fosters a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement which I really appreciate.

Q: How do you plan on collaborating with other team members to deliver highly performant and customizable products in staking, node, and data-as-a-service?

A: Marketing and communications acts as a vital link, connecting business development, engineering, and the general public. I plan to actively engage with stakeholders across different teams, including engineering, BD, and external vendors. I think by encouraging open lines of communication, I can hopefully ensure a clear understanding of project goals, requirements, and timelines.

Q: What do you like to do outside of work? Any hobbies or interests outside of Web3?

A: Outside of work, I have a diverse range of hobbies and interests that keep me fulfilled. I thoroughly enjoy learning and expanding my knowledge in various fields. I often delve into topics such as psychology, self-help books, emerging technologies, and health, as I find them intellectually and personally stimulating.

I have a deep passion for travel and exploring the world. Throughout my life, I have had the opportunity to live in four countries and seven cities, and I have had the privilege of visiting 37 countries, some of them multiple times. This immersive experience of different cultures has been incredibly enriching and has allowed me to broaden my horizons, gain a deeper understanding of people from diverse backgrounds, and foster personal growth on another level. For me, traveling is not about ticking off destinations from a bucket list; it is about immersing myself in new environments. I’m really here to experience everything life offers.
