Q: What inspired you to join the Validation Cloud team and how do you see your role contributing to the mission of the company?

A: I am a big believer in decentralization and the advantages that come from it. My role at Validation Cloud provides a great opportunity to push the Web3 movement forward, bringing the future of finance closer to organizations and people, which will benefit society as a whole in the long term.

Q: What is your role at Validation Cloud, and could you share some details about your previous experience and background? 

A: I am starting as a Senior DevOps Engineer on the infrastructure team and will focus my initial work on the staking product. Around 2016 I became interested in cryptocurrency and I started to see the benefits associated with it. Before joining Validation Cloud, I was leading a team of DevOps Engineers, which were responsible for building and maintaining the complete cloud infrastructure of the biggest crypto broker in Europe. 

Q: What are your thoughts on the potential impact of Web3 technology, and how do you think Validation Cloud can help organizations tap into its potential?

A: Web3, and therefore decentralization, enables more people in our world to participate in the global finance system. This results in a more fair, equal, and transparent opportunity for everyone. By providing fast and reliable Web3 infrastructure, Validation Cloud can help other companies tap into that potential new customer segment. 

Q: What do you think sets Validation Cloud apart from other Web3 infrastructure companies?

A: Due to our remote-first culture, we have a team of amazing people all around the globe, who have a lot of experience in building a whole range of different Web3 products. This gives us the knowledge and flexibility to develop custom solutions to further strengthen the Web3 ecosystem and push the industry forward.

Q: Which team values resonate with you the most, and why?

A: Having previously worked in product-focused startups, the commitment to excellence is something I strive for the most in my daily work. Being able to deliver a great product and service to our customers is my main goal. Nevertheless, the other team values are equally important in succeeding as a modern Web3 company.

Q: How do you plan on collaborating with other team members to deliver highly performant and customizable products in staking, node, and data-as-a-service?

A: Through open communication and constant knowledge sharing, our team can set the standard for a great remote-first company. This enables us to tap into the potential of each other to learn and develop both ourselves as well as the company further. 

Q: What do you like to do outside of work? Any hobbies or interests outside of Web3?

A: In my free time I enjoy taking my bicycle for a ride and exploring the nearby areas. I also just started to get into 3D printing at home, which is really enjoyable, once you get the hang of it.
